How to Make a Complaint

Last updated: October 2026

We want every homeowner who reaches out to Ointrest Windows & Siding to be treated fairly and honestly. If something went wrong, tell us. This page shows how to raise a complaint and what happens after. It is a general template, not legal advice.

What You Can Raise

You can contact us about:

  • Your experience calling or contacting Ointrest Windows & Siding
  • How your personal information was handled
  • Anything on this website that seems unclear or wrong
  • The conduct of a provider we connected you with

If the Problem Is a Provider

Providers in our network are independent businesses. Each is responsible for its own estimates, pricing, work, warranties and customer service. If something is wrong with work on your home, the usual first step is to take it up with the provider directly and keep a written record.

We still want to hear about it. Feedback on providers helps keep our network honest, and providers who repeatedly fall short of our expectations may be removed. Please know that Ointrest Windows & Siding cannot settle contract disputes, refund money for a provider's work, handle warranty claims or make decisions for a provider.

How to Send Us a Complaint

Email contact@ointrest.property and include:

  • Your name and the easiest way to reach you
  • The date you contacted us or the provider
  • The phone number you called or the form you used, if you remember
  • The provider's name, if you know it
  • A clear account of what happened and what outcome you are hoping for

What Comes Next

We acknowledge your complaint by email, usually within a few business days. Then we look into what happened, which may include contacting the provider. After that, we reply with what we found and any steps we are taking.

Still Unhappy?

If our answer does not satisfy you, reply and ask us to take another look. You can also contact your state's consumer protection office or attorney general, or your local Better Business Bureau. For contractor issues, your state or local contractor licensing board may be able to help.
